Corridor Gallery General Submission Guidelines

Corridor is a cooperative space under the auspices of a non-profit, it is not a commercial gallery. Showing here requires a little more investment on behalf of exhibiting artists, such as gallery sitting and providing additional promotional material. However, gallery commission is low. Corridor is open from 5pm to 9pm on First Thursday and from noon to 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. These hours may be expanded, if the artist is willing to sit. Corridor is intended to be a space for artists who are experimenting, just emerging, or who are seeking an opportunity to gain some exposure for their work. Artists, artist groups, and curators are encouraged to apply. There are some space and safety limitations. Artists who work in 3D or installation are encouraged to visit before applying.

How to apply:

• Send up to 15 examples of recent work,slides or digital .jpg files are welcome, or send a link to your website. Label slides with name, title, medium, and date. Label CD's with artist's name and provide a text file identifying your images.
• For alternative media, send documentation via labeled CD, or video, with descriptions and diagrams as necessary.
• An artist’s statement, and/or proposal for curatorial projects.
• Resume
• A self-addressed stamped envelope for return of slides. Slides, videos and CD’s cannot be returned without an SASE.
